Macadamia integrifolia, commonly known as the Smooth-Shell Macadamia or Queensland Nut, is a tropical evergreen tree indigenous to the rainforests of southeastern Queensland and northeastern New South Wales in Australia. This slow-growing tree can reach heights of up to 50 feet (15 meters) and is distinguished by its glossy, dark green leaves and pendulous clusters of fragrant, cream-colored flowers. The tree bears spherical, hard-shelled fruits known as macadamia nuts, which are highly prized for their rich, buttery flavor and nutritional value. Macadamia nuts have a smooth shell, which sets them apart from other species in the Macadamia genus. These nuts are a popular ingredient in both culinary and confectionery applications. Due to their high oil content, Macadamia integrifolia trees are cultivated in various tropical and subtropical regions worldwide for their valuable nut crop, contributing to the global demand for these delectable nuts.  Zones 9-11

Germination

Germinating Macadamia integrifolia seeds involves several crucial steps. To begin, carefully crack the hard outer shell of the seed using a vice or a pair of pliers to expose the inner kernel. It's essential to be gentle to avoid damaging the delicate kernel inside. After cracking, soak the seeds in lukewarm water for 24 to 48 hours, changing the water every 12 hours. This soaking process helps soften the kernel and promote germination. Following soaking, plant the seeds in a well-draining potting mix or a seed-raising mix, ensuring they are planted with the cracked side facing down and covered with about 1 inch (2.5 centimeters) of soil. Maintain consistent moisture in the soil, keeping it slightly damp but not waterlogged. Place the planting container in a warm, sheltered location with indirect sunlight. Germination typically occurs within 4 to 6 weeks, with the emergence of a small seedling. Once the seedling is strong enough, it can be transplanted into its final growing location, preferably in a subtropical or tropical region with well-drained soil. With patience and proper care, you can successfully grow Macadamia integrifolia trees from seeds, eventually enjoying their bountiful and delicious nut harvests.

Great for walking all day at work as well
Size: X-Large, Color: (001) Black / Black / White
I walk approximately 10 miles a day at work, in a manufacturing setting. On concrete with steel toe shoes. My feet have been begging me to change from the socks that I have worn for years. I have worn these other name brand socks for probably 10 years. So, change was obviously something I had to be pushed into. I got on Amazon and searched for training socks. I read the description. Glanced at the reviews. I decided to move forward with purchasing these. I could not have been happier. My feet began feeling better immediately. And the priced was very reasonible.

The only socks that I can wear with my hey dudes. They stay on my ankles and never slid down into the shoe. I will forever order these as long as they are available. They are comfy too!

Good option, especially in warmer weather
Size: 6-10, Color: Black
High quality socks and very durable. Nice touch adding the grip on the back of the ankle so the sock stays up. Size is a true fit to the size of your foot as well.
